1️⃣ IPS Q5 OSD LCD ( From Hispeedido manufacturer, not laminated):

   ⭐ Super crisp display with many different color palettes, player also can adjust each color palette manually. Perfect image, no blur, no tearing issues.

   ⭐ 25% bigger comparing with original display

   ⭐ Multi-level brightness control. Can adjust brightness with touch pad installed inside at the top right of the device or through OSD menu.

   ⭐ Battery status icon (optional and it is not very accurate, especially when using rechargeable AAs battery)

   🌟LEDs button mod (+36usd) : Light up the buttons of your GBC with a lot of LED colors. A Flexible RGB LED Cable is installed inside the shell. Pair with clear buttons to make your GBC shine!

How to control: see picture

Features:

A+B for two seconds = Switch modes (Loop mode, Off, Breathing mode, Multi-Color mode)

In Multi-color mode: you can change the brightness (of all the LEDs), and change the saturation of each LED (The color will change through a circle)

The buttons: D-pad, A, B, Start, Select will light up.

Installing this mod might cause small background noise but not serious and it will be covered by the music of the game.

 

💤 Sleep Mode mod (+44usd): Sleep mode is a standby feature that allows the GBC to reserve power while still keeping the system on. This is helpful when you need to leave the device for a short period of time and then you can pick it up and play it from wherever you left it off without too much loss of power of the battery.

How it works:

 📙Simply sliding the switch built-in at the side of the console to turn on the sleep mode, slide it back to awake the system.

 💤When the system is in sleep mode:

     📴The Screen is totally off

     🔇The Sound from speaker is totally off.

     ⏸The game is still in progress but start button will be activated automatically to pause the game. Note that some games are not paused when start button is pressed, you will need to find another way to pause the game before putting it in sleep mode or just leave as it is in progress and shut the screen and sound off to save power.

  📌Test power consumption with IPS LCD, Pokemon Gold, average brightness level:

     ▶️While playing: 240mA

     😴While in sleep mode: 90mA (save ~60%)

 

🖥 HDMI TV Out mod (+65usd): This mod allows you to connect your Gameboy Color to your big TV through a HDMI cable. Now you turn your Gameboy Color to a controller and enjoy the games with super high quality images on your TV (720p).

Built-in 3 TV aspect ratio.

This mod comes with a micro HDMI to HDMI adapter, you will need to prepare a HDMI cable.

It is reported that does not work with some Sony 4K TV models.

Sound is adjusted by both console and TV at the same time. It means sound on the console is still on while playing through TV, if you mute the speaker on the console, the sound on TV is muted as well. There is a tip to mute the sound on the console but sound on TV is still on, you plug a headphone to the console, sound from its speaker will be muted but sound on TV is still running. That is how the GBC HDMI kit works.

 

🔊 Louder sound (+10usd): an amp board is installed to amplify the sound. Original sound from GBC is very quite, this mod will upgrade the sound to be louder and make player have a good experience enjoying with the games.

 

  ⏩ OverClocking (+25usd): Speed up/down the game. Hardware will be modified so that player can change the speed of the game to 3 levels via a switch which is installed nicely at the bottom of the device.

        3 speeds are 0.85x, 1x (normal speed) and 1.5x. This mod is for bypassing the long text (games like Pokemon) or slowing down the action moving on the fighting games.

  Note: 0.85x and 1.5x work well with genuine game cartridges. Do not work stably with flashcart at 0.85x and 1.5x. There is a tip to make it work stably with flashcart and fake cartridges (I do not guaranty 100%), that is only change the speed when the game is paused.

        

  🔋 Rechargeable AAs mod (+25usd): The device is modified so that player can charge the rechargeable AAs batteries (Nimh batteries) directly from the device via USB Type C charging port built-in (at the bottom of the device). Can use any phone charge which has 5v out to charge it. It works with both type A to type C and type C to type C charging cable

It still works with normal AAs batteries normally.

LED indicator:

Charging: orange 🟠

Full charged it is off.

 

Only charge when the batteries are inserted.

 

⚠️ Battery icon (one of the functions of the IPS LCD for GBP) does not work accurately with Nimh rechargeable AA battery. The reason is Nimh rechargeable AA battery is designed to work at 1.2v while this function is designed to work well with normal AA (1.5v). This does not affect too much because you know when it is full charged (orange led is off).

 

 🎧 Bluetooth mod (+27usd): this mod lets you be able to get Bluetooth Audio working on your GBC in case you'd like to have your Bluetooth headphones/speaker work with your favorite handheld. This is how it works:

    🌟 Slide the switch located at the side of the GBC to turn on the bluetooth function whenever you want to use your bluetooth headphones/speaker

     🌟 Turning on the Bluetooth function will disable the speaker of the GBC, all the sound of the game will be transferred to your bluetooth headphones/speaker. There is a small latency when transferring the sound to the Bluetooth device but it is barely noticeable.

     🌟 You can use either GBC's volume wheel or your Bluetooth headphones/speaker to adjust the volume of the sound.

     🌟 Sound that comes from bluetooth earphone/headphone is still stereo.

     🌟 Connection is good if you keep the the distance between your GBC and your Bluetooth Headphones/Speaker less than 5 meters.

     🌟 Make sure your bluetooth device disconnected before making new connection with the GBC. Sometimes you may need to turn on and off the bluetooth to pair succesfully.

     🌟 Battery life of the GBC when using Bluetooth function: around 7-8 hours with 3000 mAh AAs batteries (low brightness, IPS LCD).

     🌟 You may hear noticeable humming sound from your bluetooth headphones/speaker but it will be almost covered by the music of the game.

     🌟 It is compatible with most of bluetooth devices in the market now (except Airpods Pro version, normal Airpods is still compatible), but I can not test every bluetooth device to say surely it will work with your bluetooth device, if you find out it can not pair with your bluetooth device after receiving the GBC, please try with another bluetooth device.
